Barcelona president Joan Laporta had a public bust-up with a fan ahead of last night's defeat at Manchester United.

Marca says Laporta was harassed by the Barca fan, who insulted the president for some time in Manchester's city centre, demanding he resign.

Eventually, a fed-up Laporta confronted the fan after he was called "a swindler" and responded: "Hey, don't insult me. Don't take this the wrong way, just enjoy the semifinal."

Laporta then turned on his heels and joined fellow Barca directors at a local restaurant, while the fan was left silenced and surrounded by the watching media.
