Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has paid tribute to Tito Vilanova after his passing.
Bartomeu posted a message on Twitter following the death of Vilanova:
"Tito Vilanova was a wonderful person, and will never be forgotten at FC Barcelona. Thank you for everything you taught us. Rest in peace".
The president tweeted these heartfelt words as soon as the club itself officially confirmed the death of their former coach.
