Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is confident sporting director Robert Fernandez will pull off a successful transfer window.
Bartomeu was asked specifically about a deal for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.
"I'm calm because I trust in Fernandez as well as [Ernesto] Valverde and all of the staff who will play their part for the club next season," he told beIN Sports.
"It isn't easy because we are already a very good team but we can tweak certain positions and that's what we are working on to make sure we have a very competitive team next season who will fight on all fronts from the first day.
"I can't say too much about certain players. Verratti is a PSG player and has a contract with that club. I trust in Fernandez's work. We have agreed on what we need for next season and are working hard on it."
