Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu was delighted for Lionel Messi after victory over Levante.
Messi hit a hat-trick in his 300th Liga game.
"Messi goes from record to record," said Bartomeu.
"He really wants to please. We're only just starting the second half of the season, but Messi has been on spectacular form."
