Newly reinstalled Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu hopes to mend some bridges after Saturday's election triumph.

Bartomeu, says Sport, will offer an olive branch to Eric Abidal, Johan Cruyff and Carles Puyol in the coming days.

Abidal and Cruyff were part of election rival Joan Laporta's ticket and criticised Bartomeu's management of the club in ruthless fashion.

However, the new president hopes to begin with a clean slate.

Abidal will be offered a football director's role at the club, while Puyol will also be offered a position in the football department.

For Cruyff, Bartomeu will move to assist his work with the local youth and expand the relationship the club's Foundation has with the Dutch great.
