Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu says Cesc Fabregas' sale to Chelsea was good for all parties.
There were claims of a bitter split at the time of the deal, but Bartomeu insists the former Arsenal captain left on good terms.
"I participated a lot in the signing of Cesc. He was a player loved by Pep Guardiola and the technical department. It cost a lot to sign him.
"We have been very good to him, he is a magnificent player. It is a good decision for him to switch teams.
"If you ask him, I'm sure he will be happy and say that we have treated very well."
