New Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu admits Lionel Messi has been hit by Sandro Rosell's resignation.
Rosell stepped down as president last week over the Neymar transfer controversy.
Bartomeu said: "Messi is sad about Rosell's departure, as he has known him for 13 years.
"But he will be here for many years, as he's the best in the world."
