Barcelona super spy Albert Valentin has been posted to Peru for the U20 South American championships.
El Mundo Deportivo says Valentin has been issued with a brief to draw up reports on five young South American talents.
Santos star Neymar and Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Rodrigues are in Barca sights for Brazil, while there are three Argentines on Valentin's checklist.
Rogelio Funes Mori (19, River Plate), Juan Iturbe (18, Quilmes) and Sergio Araujo (19, Boca Juniors) will also be tracked.
