Barcelona are exploring the prospect of re-signing Luis Alberto from Lazio.
The former Barca B star has been a revelation for Lazio this year and his form has led to a call-up to Julen Lopetegui's Spain squad.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio is reporting Alberto's progress has caught the eye of Barca chiefs, which had scouts check on him on Monday night against Torino.
Alberto is under consideration as an alternative to Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho.
However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito has no intention of losing the attacker as they go for the Scudetto this season.
