Barcelona are planning a move for Manchester City winger Robinho.
Barca are ready to turn to Robinho as their hopes of landing Franck Ribery fade.
Barca have drawn up a list of alternatives that includes Arsenal's Robin van Persie, Chelsea's Florent Malouda and Valencia's Juan Mata.
But Robinho is very much the No 1 target, according to Catalan newspaper Sport, as coach Pep Guardiola looks for a player to strengthen his forward line.
Robinho said: "Barca are a great team and it is always good that there is interest, but right now I'm just focused on the Brazil team, which is the priority."
It's suggested there is a clause in his contract allowing him to leave because City did not qualify for the Champions League, but the paper does not state a fee.
Barca hope to tempt him with an after-tax salary of less than £100,000 a week, which, thanks to Spain's generous tax system would cost them less than the £160,000 a week currently paid out by City.
