Barcelona plan amazing £60M Benzema bid

Barcelona are ready to smash the world transfer record for Olympique Lyon ace Karim Benzema.

Only yesterday, Benzema warned Lyon he would quit at the end of this season if they failed to beat Barca in next month's Champions League tie.

And Aujourd'hui Sport says Barca are planning to offer a staggering £60 million to convince Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas to sell the young forward.

The offer would be a clear £20 million greater than what both Manchester United and Real Madrid have indicated they'd be prepared to pay for Benzema - but still falls short of Aulas' £90 million valuation.

I agree that he very talented foward but I belive he is worth no more than 40 million.

Benzema is a great player and will be a great aquisation for barcelona but i dont thik he is worth 60 million pounds
