Barcelona have opened talks with Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet.

Sport says Barca have made contact with Lenglet's minders to register their interest and also Sevilla about a price for the Frenchman.

Lenglet is rated at €30-45m by Sevilla's board, which are reluctant to sell.

Barca see the defender as a potential replacement for Thomas Vermaelen.

With the Belgian likely to leave and Yerry Mina available for loan, Barca are in need for a new centre-half signing - with Lenglet high on the agenda.
