Barcelona official Andre Cury raked in €6.6M from Neymar sale

Barcelona official Andre Cury took home a staggering €6.6m from Neymar's €222m sale to PSG last year, it has been revealed.

Cadena SER's Quèt, hi jugues reports Cury took the commission thanks to the original deal he secured for Barca when Neymar was signed from Santos. Previously, he has also helped with the signings of Keirrison and Henrique.

Cury is employed by Barca to work the Brazilian transfer market and was also influential in the arrivals of Arthur Melo and Yerry Mina this year.

While he stood to make the huge commission, the report also states Cury flew to New York last year urging Neymar to stay with Barca ahead of the world record move.

However, it's also suggested Cury would have also earned a fee if Neymar had stayed and signed a new deal.
