Barcelona offer for Villa falls short of Man Utd bid
Barcelona have made a new offer for Valencia striker David Villa - but it still falls short of Manchester United's bid.
With a deal for Palmeiras striker Keirrison being finalised, Barca have informed Valencia they're willing to add the Brazilian, plus defender Martin Caceras, to a cash offer of £35 million for Villa.
But the proposal still falls short of the £45 million Manchester United have put on the table.
Barca hope Villa will be able to convince Valencia to sell to them as the striker has his heart set on moving to the Nou Camp.
