Barcelona assistant coach Tito Vilanova has been released from hospital.

Vilanova underwent surgery for a problem with his parotid gland last Tuesday at the Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron in the Catalan capital before beginning his post-operation recovery at the same clinic.

Pep Guardiola's right-hand man has now been discharged and is expected to regain full health within three to four weeks.
