Barcelona are attempting to find a loan club for imminent signing Douglas.
Marca says Barcelona have a deal worth 6-8 million in place to sign Douglas from Sao Paulo, but things have stalled while the Catalan giants figure out where the full-back will ply his trade this season.
Barça initially intended for the 24-year-old to stay in Brazil for another year and then to move to the Camp Nou at the beginning of the 2015-16 campaign.
However, these plans have been scuppered following the announcement by São Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar, who revealed that such an agreement would be impossible because the transfer window in Brazil closed on 15th August.
