Barcelona are locked in talks with Liverpool over a fee for Dan Agger. Sport says Barca have offered €15 million plus €5 million in bonuses for the Dane, which falls short of Liverpool's valuation.

The Reds have already rejected an offer of €18 million from Manchester City this week.

Barca coach Tito Vilanova would welcome Agger's signing as it would release Javier Mascherano back into a midfield role.
