Blackburn Rovers remain locked in Barcelona talks for Victor Vazquez.
The midfielder is eager to see the deal happen, though talks appeared to dry up last week.
Blackburn boss Steve Kean is keen to strengthen his squad and has money at his disposal.
Vazquez is hoping to secure a loan move to Ewood Park until the end of the season with Blackburn then having first option on making the move a permanent one during the summer.
