Barcelona midfielder Alex Song risks pricing himself out of a return to the Premier League. The London Evening Standard says the former Arsenal midfielder is out of favour at Barcelona and has been made available on loan, with Tottenham thought to be considering a move.
Yet Song is believed to be unwilling to budge from his annual salary of £5m a year after tax, which equates to more than £180,000 a week before deductions.
A more probable destination appears to be Turkey, with Galatasaray likely to move before the transfer window closes.
