Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets hit out at LaLiga officials after victory over Atletico Madrid.

Busquets lashed out over the schedule following their 1-0 win.

The midfielder said: "We both could play on Wednesday and they put us on Thursday. We arrived in Barcelona and had to train without resting. If we are in the best league in the world then make things better. It is not an excuse. It's reality.

"When a game is lost, I do not like to complain, but today we won, I take the opportunity to do it."

On the win, Busquets added: "It is not resolved. From here to the end of the season there are difficult games. It is true that we have the goal average with Atlético in favor but we go match by match. There is a demanding calendar but we face it with great enthusiasm and with desire to do important things."
