Javier Mascherano insists Barcelona have the best player in the world. Much of Monday's pre-match focus has fallen on the teams' star players - Barca's Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mascherano admits he is biased on which is best.
"Messi is a step above other players," he said, "but it's a personal opinion because I know him and work with him every day.
"These two are the best as individuals but I understand why people may think Ronaldo is the best."
