Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic insists they can make this season a success.

With Barcelona holding a 12 point lead in LaLiga it appears only a question of time until they are crowned champions and they take on Sevilla this Saturday hoping to win the Copa del Rey.

There is though some despondency in Barcelona at the way they crashed out of Europe against Roma where they let a 4-1 first leg lead slip.

"We want to keep making history but knowing that we are facing one of the best teams in LaLiga and if we finish the season with a with a double then it will have been a very big success," said Rakitic.

"Since I have been here we have won all the cups and that is all we are thinking about now."
