Iniesta has been ruled out of Spain's upcoming matches against France and Macedonia through injury.
Del Bosque has opted against calling up a replacement for the 30-year-old and will stick with the remaining 22 players in his named in his squad on Friday, the Spanish football federation announced.
The two-time reigning European champions play France in a friendly on Thursday before facing Macedonia in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier next Monday.
