Barcelona management are unhappy with injuries sustained by Lionel Messi during their Copa del Rey victory over Atletico Madrid this week.

Messi was only on the pitch for 20 minutes, but was forced to skip training yesterday due to an ankle injury caused by a heavy challenge from Atletico defender Luis Perea.

Barca chiefs, including president Joan Laporta, have made no secret of their concern over how the opposition are targeting Messi this season.
