Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong admits he and Matthijs de Ligt would prefer to leave for a new club together.

Both youngsters are interesting Barcelona and Manchester City, while De Jong is also a target for Tottenham.

"If we decide to leave Ajax for another club, it would be great if we went to the same club," said De Jong.

"We're talking about this in between, but it's not that big thing."

City are in contact with Ajax about a January deal worth €70-80m for De Jong.
