Barcelona have lost Marc-Andre ter Stegen for three weeks due to injury.
Barca confirmed Ter Stegen would be out for two to three weeks after sustaining a back injury on Monday.
Claudio Bravo, who like Ter Stegen only arrived this summer, is now set to start the season as undisputed No1.
