Barcelona captain Carles Puyol faces eight weeks out with his horror elbow injury.

Puyol is facing eight weeks on the sidelines after dislocating his left elbow in the Champions League win over Benfica on Tuesday night.

A statement on www.fcbarcelona.com read: "The club captain will undergo conservative treatment and is expected to be out for about eight weeks."
