Retired Barcelona captain Carles Puyol knows fans are excited by the prospect of signing Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Ignoring Suarez's biting controversy, Puyol declared the Uruguayan a 'grandísimo' striker.
Speaking at a Nike event, Puyol said: "He (Suarez) is a player who is very difficult to mark. Very difficult to prevent scoring.
"For me, I think he is a great striker."
Barca and Liverpool are continuing talks today in London over a fee for the Uruguayan.
