Former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol is being linked with a role at Colorado Rapids.

Marca says Puyol could be making a return to football, this according to sources close to the player.

It is being rumored that the Catalonian is considering an offer from the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer (MLS).

Last March 2014 Puyol announced his departure from Barcelona and he currently lives in New York along with his long-time girlfriend, Vanessa Lorenzo.
