Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has continued his battle with club president Sandro Rosell.
The pair do not see eye-to-eye and Cruyff released a statement to Radio Catalunya explaining his position.
"I have never gone to the press. One day, he was president for a month or month and a half, he called for us to sit and we got together to talk about the club. I went to Montanyà. I would sit with him. I have two witnesses to the call and told him to his face that I did not like how he was doing things.
"I remembered when he was a candidate, he was a nobody. I see it as very ugly if you speak ill of someone without knowing him.
"Rosell spent three years campaigning and talking bad about me. The day I was still honorary president of the club, I was on the field, not happy, but there I was.
"I know too well from working in Brazil. I prefer to get away and not be near him."
