Liverpool have informed Barcelona they're prepared to sell Philippe Coutinho - but it will take record money to sign the Brazilian.

Sport says Barca have made the Reds ace a priority target for the summer market and an approach has already been made to Liverpool.

Despite Coutinho penning a new deal this season, Liverpool are willing to do business - but not for any old price.

Barca have been told they will have to start the bidding at €90 million for Liverpool to come to the table - and going beyond €100 million hasn't been ruled out.

Coutinho has given his approval to the move. However, he won't force anything through at his end as he is happy at Anfield.

Barca want Coutinho as they prepare to faze out Andres Iniesta over the next 12 months.
