Barcelona want to bring Valencia fullback Jordi Alba back to the club.

The former Barca junior is now a member of Vicente del Bosque's Spain squad and regarded the best young fullback in the country.

Barca have already failed with one offer of cash plus Martin Montoya in exchange for the youngster.

But Valencia sources say this hasn't put off Barca president Sandro Rosell, who is now preparing a straight cash bid worth €15 million.

Alba will also be tabled a contract proposal in the region of €3 million-a-year.
