Barcelona are eyeing the Italian transfer market to boost their defensive options.

Juventus centre-half Zdenek Grygera and Roma fullback Cicinho, once of Real Madrid, are both being linked with Barca.

Grygera has been associated with a move away from Turin all summer and Juve are ready to sell if the price is right.

Barca's other option is the more attacking Cicinho who already has Liga experience following his two-year spell at Real Madrid.

Signed for a fee of around £8m by Roma in the summer of 2007, the Brazilian international has struggled for form and fitness ever since.
