Barcelona intend to sign Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen this summer.

Sport says Victor Valdes' decision to stay for the remaining year of his deal hasn't changed Barca's plans over the Germany international.

The Spanish champs intend to sign Ter Stegen and will either loan him back to Gladbach for next season or keep him at the Nou Camp should Valdes be sold.

Gladbach are prepared to sell the young shot-stopper for €15 million.
