Barcelona midfielder Xavi is ready to continue his career in the US.
Xavi is currently taking a short break in Ibiza after Spain's World Cup campaign and is expected to announce he's moving to New York City FC upon his return to Barcelona.
Sport says Xavi has accepted a three-year contract from Manchester City's MLS club worth a massive €18 million.
Barca won't stand in the veteran's way and will hand him a free transfer once he's publicly confirmed the decision.
New York City FC will join MLS in 2015 and along with Xavi also will boast former Barca striker David Villa on its books.
