Former Barcelona and Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has turned down an offer from Rayo Majadahonda.
Marca says despite suggestions that Rayo Majadahonda were to hire Valdes to be the team's new youth coach, the former Spanish international has snubbed their offer and signed with the Football School of Moratalaz.
Valdes will coach the youth players at the academy from the beginning of the 2018/19 season and the location of the job is rather convenient for the former United stopper.
Having been living in Madrid for several weeks, Valdes will take a post with the academy that is in the Southeast district of the Spanish capital.
