Barcelona hero Valdes: Cold no excuse
Barcelona hero Victor Valdes says the "cold was no excuse" after their fortunate 0-0 draw at Champions League opponents Rubin Kazan last night.
Valdes was superb in goal for the visitors, twice denying Rubin in the second-half with courageous one-on-one saves.
"They were a very difficult team to play," said Valdes.
"The snow made it very difficult to play. The cold was intense, but the doctors have done a good job. The cold is no excuse.
"We had our chances but it could not be. I am satisfied with my work and for the whole team."

Stop looking for excuses you foolish goat.This time around is cold,when two weeks ago you lost to this same Kazan side in Barcelone were there any snow or cold?If you cant beat this unknown Rubin Kazan, then forget about the CL trophy his time around.
come on Barcelona...the cold froze your brains out.....just admit that the conditions made it impossible for you to play. Be a man about it..LOL
