Barcelona hero Rivaldo has played down the prospect of moving to Real Mallorca.

Rivaldo, who revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that he had rescinded his contract with Bunyodkor, has used the same social networking site to play down speculation.

"I haven't given any interview to any media outlet and everything that is coming out is not true," he said. "The only truth is that now I am unemployed and going to Brazil.

"But my lawyer has just informed me that his telephone hasn't stopped ringing, many clubs from Europe and Brazil are contacting him.

"As I am out resolving personal matters, I can't always be online, but you will be the first to know any news.

"Despite my 38 years, I still have the footballing ability to play as much in Brazil as in Europe, I have always looked after myself for that. You can take that for certain."
