El Mundo Deportivo says Barca are keeping tabs on United star Martial after Robert Fernandez watched the winger in action against Benfica.
The 21-year-old has impressed this season under Jose Mourinho, where he has netted five times in 11 games in all competitions.
The Catalan club's sporting director was in attendance in Portugal to watch the Red Devils' Champions League clash on Wednesday.
However, Martial failed to have an impact on the match as he came on for the last 14 minutes to replace the injured Marcus Rashford.
