"All our matches are important and you have to win them, there is no alternative," said Ter Stegen.

"There is no other way to be LaLiga leaders.

"If we fail, we have a team that is right there.

"It's like that week after week."

Lionel Messi scored twice on the day.

"Leo is Leo," he intimated. "However, Luis Suarez also played very well.

"He did well in all his individual matchups, we have great individual quality."
