Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba insists he didn't deserve his dismissal during victory at Espanyol.

Alba was sent off for two yellow cards.

"The first card was for protesting. I didn't see it was a goal kick. I thought it was a corner.

"I only said: 'Always the same. Always me'. I didn't say anything else. I've always had problems when he's been referee. I always try to speak politely to him but he always reacts," Alba said.

"I have a strong temper, but I did not disrespect anyone today. I now know how to act in the future."
