Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba hailed the impact of coach Ernesto Valverde after their 3-0 win over Girona.
Alba was utilised as a wing-back on Saturday evening and actually provided the dangerous cross which forced the hosts into a disastrous own-goal in the first half.
In a post-match interview with Movistar, the Spanish defender intimated that Valverde is doing a fantastic job of coaching the team at this moment.
"The coach is managing the squad to perfection, we are all getting a chance to play," he explained.
Alba is in fine form and, when quizzed on his fine run of performances, the Spain international once again referred to the former Athletic Club coach.
"The truth is that the coach is working with us very well," he said.
"We are responding to his methods and, whilst there is a lot of football to be played, I feel as though everyone has a positive feeling."
