Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves has welcomed the recognition received this season.

Alves is regarded now the best right-back in the world.

"The price is relative, if you give a high level of return, it doesn't matter what you cost. I got very stressed by what they [Barcelona] paid for me but I knew that the performance I could give would be good," he is quoted as saying by Sport.

"If you are humble and honest, and work to make things right, you feel proud that you are considered one of the best. It is a victory that can not be paid. I have suffered much to get here and to enjoy it is the greatest thing."
