Barcelona fullback Alves to choose between Man City, Chelsea

Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves is ready to make a move to Manchester City or Chelsea.

The Daily Star Sunday says Alves will join either Chelsea or mega-rich Manchester City if he fails to land his £200,000-a-week dream deal at the Nou Camp.

The Brazil right-back insists he wants to stay at Barcelona where he is in contract talks.

But he believes a move to the Premier League would boost his chances of landing a huge payday, with Chelsea or City being the clubs most likely to meet his demands.

Alves, 27, who has one year left on his current deal, said: "My dream is to stay with Barca. If it was down to me it would be 100 per cent certain but it depends on both sides."
