Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba has jumped to the defence of departing coach Tata Martino.
Martino has been quickly cast aside by Barca to be replaced by Luis Enrique this week.
"The season hasn't been good. I feel bad for all my teammates, since we're the ones who really feel it the most, for the fans and for 'Tata', because he's been criticised without any justification. I really feel worst for the coach," said Alba.
On Luis Enrique, he added: "I really liked him as a player and I've heard great things about him as a coach. He was an exemplary player. His character was what really stood out."
