A move to Greece is a surprise option for fallen Barcelona star Alex Hleb.

Hleb has confirmed he will return to Barca at the end of the season after falling out with Stuttgart management during his time on-loan.

The former Arsenal midfield ace is desperate to revive his flagging career and Sport24 says Panathinaikos have been in touch about a move to Athens in the summer.

Barca are keen to find a buyer for Hleb, who has no place in the plans of coach Pep Guardiola next term.
