Barcelona are facing a fresh battle to secure Santos star Neymar.Marca says Barcelona have already made an advanced payment of €10 million of an agreed €40 million fee for the Brazilian. It's been settled should Santos sell Neymar to another club, they will have to pay a huge penalty clause.

However, rivals Real Madrid and Manchester City aren't giving up, with both clubs having their lawyers investigate the legitimacy of the arrangement.

City chief Txiki Begiristain is in Brazil this week and scheduled for talks with Santos.
