Arsenal are preparing a firm offer for Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes. Valdes, who has rejected new terms tabled by Barca, expects to be sold in the summer with his contract due to expire next year.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in the market for an experienced No1 and 31 year-old Valdes fits the bill.
El Mundo Deportivo says Arsenal intend to open the bidding with an offer of €10 million.
