Barcelona enjoyed a record week online leading up to Saturday's El Clasico triumph over Real Madrid.
During the 21st through the 27th of October, the website registered the most unique visitors in the history of the Club, 2.9 million, which supposes an increase in audience of 63% over the website's traffic average.
The El Clasico made a huge impact on Barca's social media streams.
They garnered more than 120,000 fans on its Facebook page; 30,000 more followers on Twitter; 28,000 more fans on Google+, and more than 18,000 more followers on Instagram. This means that Barça's average of online fan acquisition tripled in just one weekend.
