Barcelona are being kept up-to-speed on Manchester City's pursuit of Ronaldinho.

City are the only club willing to go close to Barca's asking price and representatives will be in Porto Alegre, Brazil, later this week for talks with the former World Player of the Year.

DiarioSport says Barca are eager to see the deal done and have maintained daily contact with Ronie's brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, as City's approach has gathered pace.
